We are looking for an Electrical Technician Trainee to assist carrying out the facility's marine and process electrical systems, associated equipment and utilities safely.
Responsibilities will be:
- Assist maintaining facility electrical equipment within all applicable codes, regulations and standards
- Assist maintaining rating of all electrical hazardous area equipment
- Assist carrying out routine maintenance on electrical control panel
- Participate in the failure root cause investigation/troubleshooting of equipment
- Participate in a coordinated Nationalization and OJT program
- Participate on the maintenance activities realized by external support contractors related to electrical department
- Assist executing planned preventive and corrective maintenance routines
- Prepare daily activities report and refer to his/her Supervisor
- Ensure the electrical workshop is clear, clean and tools are correctly stored and maintained
- Ensure all plant readings are carried out in a timely manner under instruction from the Production Supervisor
Position requirements are:
- English
- Bachelor degree minimum in electrics
- Proven experience maintaining electrical equipment as : HV/lv electrical motors, power supply, UPS, inverter, rectifier, VFD, switch board, isolations, earthing systems, gas turbine driven, power transformer etc.
